Our Beacon Program located at Middle School P.S./I.S. 224 in the Bronx, provides engaging youth development initiatives including community involvement and collaboration.
The Neighborhood Association for Inter-Cultural Affairs, Inc. joined our Beacon program to host a shoe giveaway which put 120 pairs of brand new sneakers on the feet of students.
The students were delighted with the sneakers, their smiles were endless. Through the evening they continued their academic enrichment activities with a boost of energy.
