Our Beacon program in the Bronx partnered up with Young Urban Christians & Artists, Inc. (YUCA).
ASPIRA High School Students at International Community High School in the Bronx participated in The Social Justice Collage Workshop, an eight-week Boricua College/ YUCA program collaboration designed to provide a foundation for the intersection of collage making and social justice.
Student collages from the workshop are now exhibited at the Boricua College gallery, Bronx Campus. This art show allows local students to exhibit their artwork in a professional venue and have it viewed by hundreds of people in our communities.
This week is the last week the exhibit will be on display (through May 27th, from 6pm to 8pm).
Come out and help us celebrate our young artists!
