SVA AND J.H.S. 131 BASKETBALL GAME AT THE BARCLAY CENTER

ASPIRA middle school students from both Soundview Academy for Culture and Scholarship (SVA) and J.H.S. 131 Albert Einstein played a basketball game against MS29 at the Barclays Center, home of the Nets.

This was an exhibition game sponsored by Playbook Sports. Playbook Sports provide schools and youth programs with access to run events around the country at professional stadiums and arenas.

Students were very excited to have the main court time available to play.

“It’s a blessing to be here today playing with my teammates and coaches”, said Justin Hernandez (8th grader at Soundview Academy for Culture and Scholarship).
