On Saturday, May 21st, the ASPIRA Explosion Dance Team from Soundview Academy for Culture and Scholarship participated in the 16th Annual Dance Parade and Festival with 10,000 dancers featuring over 100 unique styles of dance.
The dance team also competed in The Six Flags Great Adventure annual Cheerleading and Dance Championship, CHEERFEST on Sunday, May 22nd and came in third place!
This year’s event was open to public, private schools, recreation, and All-Star teams from around the state.
