The ASPIRA members of ‘Elite Dance Nation’ participated in the 65th Annual Puerto Rican Day Parade on Sunday, June 12, 2022.
The dance team joined hundreds of performers, local celebrities, and community groups in the march celebrating the Latino community pride.
The ASPIRA ‘Elite Dance Nation’ consists of both the ‘Explosion’ and ‘Baile Cafe’ youth dance teams from Soundview Academy for Culture and Scholarship in The Bronx. Through this group we provide high quality dance program focusing on technique and performance. Students learn and perform genres as Salsa, Bachata, Soca, and Hip Hop.
